Caroline Gabriela Medina Peschiutta was born on June 27, 1992, in Maracay, Venezuela. She is a Venezuelan fashion model who won the title of Miss Venezuela Earth 2010 and Reina Hispanoamericana 2010. Medina won the “Teen Model Venezuela 2009″ pageant in Caracas (Venezuela), on August 6, 2009. Medina represented the state of Aragua in the national beauty pageant Miss Venezuela 2010, on October 28, 2010, and obtained the title of Miss Venezuela Earth 2010. She will represent Venezuela in the 2011 Miss Earth pageant in Vietnam. Medina won the 2010 Reina Hispanoamericana pageant, in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, on November 24, 2010.

Venezuela wins Reina Hispanoamericana 2010

The 18-year old model from Maracay stands 1.78 m tall and will also represent Venezuela in the Miss Earth 2011 in Vietnam.

Caroline was crowned by last year’s titleholder, Adriana Vasini, also from Venezuela, in what was a “back to back” victory.

The 1st runner-up or “virreina” was Miss Paraguay, Egni Eckert. A major favorite, she led the competition until the final question round, when she lost her train of thought when delivering her answer.

Completing the top 7, in the order they were ranked, were the contestants from Bolivia (Olivia Pinheiros), Brazil (Suymara Barreto), Spain (Raquel Lozano), Uruguay (Stephany Ortega) and Argentina (Yessica Di Vincenzo).

22 beauties competed in the annual event, organized by Bolivian-based agency Promociones Gloria.

Reina Hispanoamericana 2010 beauty pageant will be held on November 24, 2010 at the ExpoCruz Santa Cruz - Meet the contestants

Reina Hispanoamericana 2010 beauty pageant celebrates it's 20th year will be held on November 24 in ExpoCruz Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Adriana Vasini, Reina Hispanoamericana 2009 (photo above) will crown her successor at the end of the competition.

22 contestants will compete in the pageant and they were formally presented to the media on November 15. During their stay in Bolivia, the delegates will visit La Paz, Bolivia for video shots that will be shown during the pageant's coronation night including the shots taken in Santa Cruz.
