BIOGRAPHY:

Elisa Torrini (Rome, 10/04/1989) is an Italian model. She was crowned Miss Universe Italy 2011 on June 30, 2011 at the Piazzale del Soccorso in Forio d'Ischia. She is 1.80 m tall (5'11"), one of tallest Italian delegates ever in the history of the pageant. By winning the title, Elisa earned the right to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 12, 2011.

As part of her prize package, Elisa won a week-long stay in Caracas, Venezuela during the month of August to attend the prestigious Katty Pulido International Academy, where she will receive intensive training in all areas of competition to aid her preparation for the Miss Universe pageant. It is the first time an Italian representative is sent abroad to train for the international competition. This prize is part of a larger concerted effort by the new franchise holders of Miss Universe Italy to craft extremely competitive delegates in an attempt to snag the first Miss Universe crown ever for Italy, the country with the highest placements at the pageant never to win the title. Other prizes for the winner include beauty kits, jewelry and and a three-day stay at a luxurious hotel in Sardinia.

Were she to place, Elisa would be the first Italian delegate to do so in three years. Claudia Ferraris advanced to the Top 10 at the Miss Universe 2008 pageant, placing ninth at the end of the competition won by Venezuela's Dayana Mendoza.

Sara El-Khouly (born February 15, 1988 in Cairo, Egypt) is an Egyptian-Emirati model and beauty queen. She is of part Croatian descent and grew up in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

Sara was crowned Miss Egypt World 2010 on July 7, 2010 in Cairo. At the time of the coronation, she was a student at the American University of Sharjah. Eventually, on October 20, 2010 she represented her nation at the Miss World 2010 beauty pageant, held in Sanya, China. She did not place among the 25 semi-finalists of the pageant, which was won by Alexandria Mills, representing the United States.

BIOGRAPHY:

Campanella competed in the Miss New Jersey USA pageant twice, placing first runner-up in 2008 and in the top fifteen in 2009.

On November 21, 2010, she competed in the Miss California USA pageant and won the title. She was the first Miss Teen USA state delegate to represent California at Miss USA since Shauna Gambill in 1998. She was heavily favored by Vegas oddsmakers to win the title of Miss USA.

On June 19, 2011, she won the Miss USA title in Las Vegas, Nevada. As Miss USA 2011, she will go on to compete in Miss Universe 2011 on September 12, 2011 in Brazil.

Her passions are hockey and space exploration. She also admitted to have been a "history geek".

Joy-Ann Biscette is a beauty ambassador who represented St. Lucia at several regional and international pageants inclusive of Miss World 2008 in South Africa and Miss Jamzone 2010 held in Guyana where she secured the first runner up position. BIOGRAPHY:

Walcott was born in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on the June 26, 1984. She is the oldest of her three siblings: Heidi, Joshua and Sophie Walcott. She attended St. Bernadette’s Primary School, Providence Girls' Secondary School, The University of the West Indies School of Continuing Studies, The University of the West Indies and later pursued acting and theatre arts at HB Studios in New York City, United States.

An experienced equestrian show jumper, Walcott also took up hobbies such as dance, yoga, Pilates, photography, hockey, art and has always had a passion for acting and theatre. She is a long-time member and supporter of the Trinidad and Tobago Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (the TTSPCA), and claims[citation needed] to have rescued ten stray dogs and cats.

Two younger sisters of Walcott, twins Bernadette and Therese, died shortly after childbirth. Later she lost her maternal aunt to breast cancer, which she says[citation needed] sparked her interest in working with cancer related charities and organizations.
