Miss Earth 2010 Host and Guest Performer
Oliver Pettigrew will host the 10th Miss Earth 2010 beauty pageant on December 4 in Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang, Vietnam. He is the host of the Sony Style show on AXN Asia.
Meanwhile, the Irish pop star Ronan Keating will be the guest performer.
Ronan Keating is a recording artist, singer-songwriter and philanthropis. He was the lead singer of the world famous group Boyzone, including other members Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately.
He started his solo career in 1999 and became popular worldwide for the song “When you say nothing at all” which was featured in the film “Noting Hill”. As a solo artist he’s sold over 20 million records throughout the world.
Ronan was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the only artist ever to have 30 consecutive top 10 singles on the UK charts.
Keating has also worked as a charity campaigner most notably for the Marie Keating Foundation, a foundation that raises awareness for breast cancer.
The Irish pop star came to Vietnam for the first time in September 2009 for the inauguration ceremony of the IWC watch shop at the Sofitel Metropole hotel, Hanoi.
The pageant will be broadcast live at 8:00 PM on VTV1, VTV4, ABS-CBN, Star World and many TV channels in other countries.
