With only an exception in 2004 when Peru’s Maju Mantilla did not reach the Beach Beauty semi-finals, all Miss World Winners ranked high in the Beach Beauty competition. So, there’s a good chance the Miss World Winner will emerge from Beach Beauty Finalists. Let’s wait and see what will happen in Miss World 2010. The Beach Beauty fast-track was created in 2003 as part of Miss World’s new format.
This year’s competition officially started by reducing the 115 beauties to a lucky group of 40, who will try to become this year’s first semi-finalist in the Beach Beauty fast-track competition, on Saturday. Auditions for the talent show are also coming up soon, and do not forget the other three qualifying awards at stake: Top Model, Sports Woman and Beauty with a Purpose.
